On February 12, 2009, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm Central, I’ll be at a yet-to-be-determined location here in Ames, Iowa to discuss Seth Godin’s new book, Tribes. Godin has finally tipped over from writing about marketing to writing about leadership. The discussion around this book is going to be AMAZING.

What do you do for a living? What do you make? Leaders make a ruckus. (p. 19)

I LOVE Seth Godin and believe most of what he says has direct relationship to what we do in education. I refer to him often on my blog and think we can learn so much from him. I downloaded his Tribes book from iTunes for .$95! Your idea to have a discussion is great. Any way you will be able to uStream it or let those of us join in that are far away? The thought of a free dinner IS enticing however... :)
