Many of us don't think much about the back of our business cards. I think they're an opportunity. Here's what it says on the back of my card:
… and they all crossed their fingers, hoping … despite little to no investment in their leaders … despite making conscious, intentional decisions to keep it out … that somehow their students and staff would be prepared for the digital, global world that surrounded them …
The End?
I’ll probably word this a little differently next time, but I think this gets my message across that we need to better invest in our leaders and that we need to recognize that schools must be critically engaged in the preparation of digital citizens / workers. I always hand out my card with the back facing up so that the recipient at least sees that there’s something there.
What’s on the back of your business card? What could / should be?
Originally, the back of my cards were dark blue w/ the district logo.
The back of the new cards will be white and blank, so I can write personal notes to recipients.

In most cases, the back of a business card should be light, matte and nearly empty.
Sound boring? Just like Vincent pointed out, that spot to write [for you or your clients] is invaluable.

Because I train teachers in the Singapore Math curriculum, I have a word problem and a bar model solution on the back of my card. People always comment on it.

My primary business card has a bunch of the most common URLs that I give out. Seldom do I need to hand write an additional one. Usually I am able to just highlight the one of interest to who ever I am giving the card to. I have another card I give to students that has an encripted message on the back. If they can solve it I want their resume. :-)
But I like this idea of a message to create thought and draw questions. I'll have to think about that idea some more.

The front of my business cards are the typical university fare, so on the back I actually have put a sticker (low tech I know) that has my blog and twitter feeds, etc. This really helps me at conferences, since I am both a representative of my university - but with a twist.
