I couldn’t agree with you more, Arthus. You’ve just highlighted an enormous failing of our entire system of schooling.
I know that there’s been a great deal of consternation and conversation that has occurred about some of your recent Tweets. I’m going to take a different tack and instead applaud you for being willing to fight tooth and nail for your own learning. An admirable trait in a young adult. Keep on fightin’ the good fight.
My hat is off to Arthus as well for the mature manner in which he has largely approached this entire fiasco.
If I could turn back time, I would do a few things differently, as I think these experiences have exposed an ugly side of the edublogosphere that few have courage to face.
On that note, thank you, Scott, for not posting a screenshot of the tweet from which your post's title has come. To do so at this point in the game would be in very poor taste and in violation of an etiquette that I'm learning to adopt.

Thanks for the comment, Darren. Personally, I didn't think Arthus' comments were that bad; well within the normal zone of behavior for anyone, adolescent or adult. But I did think the fact that he was standing up for himself and his learning experiences deserved mention since no one else seemed to bring it up...
