Like others, I am finding that Jott is becoming an integral part of my life. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the service, you call a toll-free number, talk for up to 30 seconds, and then a typed transcription appears in your e-mail inbox. You can also use Jott to post to your blog, Twitter, get a Zillow estimate, add to your to-do list, and so on. For me, the best part of Jott may be that I can send myself reminders for a specific date and time. I also like that I can send a message to an e-mail group (like my family or my Educational Administration faculty team).
The service is free. All you have to do is register your e-mail account and phone number. Check it out!
I love the group notification feature, and I also use it like you mentioned to remind myself of ideas I have!

I'm still using it for collecting odds and ends as I'm out and about.

This tool immediately makes me think of how it might be used to help students with speech or reading problems.

An integral part of life...I HIGHLY agree to this. Especially with Jott Links...they pretty much nail about 50 percent of what I do on the web! Carl - I also agree with a student integration.... I'm sure this will come about

I love the idea behind this...unfortunately I can not seem to sign up! I did the email verification, I called the number and heard the message, but my phone number has yet to be verified. This was a few days ago.
How long did it take others to sign up? Did I miss a step?
Hopefully it will work for me soon!
