1) Developing a clear vision of where the district is going and why the one to one is being implemented.
2) A well-thought out plan for implementation is critical it must include:
How it is going to be funded
How teachers are going to be trained
How it is going to be managed as far as filtering, damaged machines, policies, etc.
3) The leadership team must walk the talk. Administrators must also embed themselves in this new modality. We must model it for teachers, parents and students.
4) The administrative team must promote it to anyone who will listen.

I think leadership is the key to any program, especially one that can potentially change the way schools operate.
